A scoreboard the whole table can read

Each player gets a big tile in their colour, and the top row turns to face the people across the table. Tap + when someone scores, or tap their total to type any number.

  • 1, 5 or 10 points a tap, or steps of your own
  • Undo, and a scoring log to fix any score
  • Whose turn it is, with a turn or sand timer
  • Scrabble, Qwirkle, Catan, Yahtzee and Farkle set up for you

How to keep score in your board game

ScrabbleAdd each word's letters and premium squares. A bingo is 50, highest wins. Qwirkle1 point a tile in each line you play to. A Qwirkle is 12, going out 6. CatanSettlements 1, cities 2, road and army 2 each. 10 on your turn wins. RummikubLosers take off their tiles, the winner adds them. A joker left costs 30. Yahtzee13 turns, one box each. Upper bonus at 63, Yahtzee is 50. FarkleSix dice, bank before you farkle. 1s are 100, 5s are 50, first to 10,000. Mexican Train13 rounds from double 12 down. Count the pips left, lowest total wins. DominoesWin the pips left in other hands, or score in 5s with All Fives to 200 or 250. Boggle3 and 4 letters 1 point, up to 11 for 8 or more. Shared words don't count.

Is there a free board game score tracker?

Tallynight is free on iPhone and iPad, with no ads and no limit on players or games. Tallynight Pro is an optional one-time payment for the Yahtzee sheet and the Family Hall of Fame.

Can I track a game that isn't in the list?

Yes. Choose Something else and set up the scoring: a running score or rounds, highest or lowest wins, and a target if there is one.

Does it keep a record of past games?

Yes. Every finished game is kept with its winner and scores, and you can export them all as a spreadsheet.

Can we use an iPad in the middle of the table?

Yes. Lay an iPad flat between you, and the top row of tiles faces the people on the other side.
