- Picker's side 61 to 90: picker +2, partner +1, each defender −1. Schneider (91 or more): double. Schwarz (every trick): triple. Alone: the picker takes the partner's share too.
- Loss on the bump: picker −4, partner −2, each defender +2. Schneidered (30 or fewer): −8, −4, +4. No trick: −12, −6, +6.
- Trumps, high to low: queens and jacks (clubs, spades, hearts, diamonds), then A, 10, K, 9, 8, 7 of diamonds. Card points: ace 11, ten 10, king 4, queen 3, jack 2.
- Every hand adds up to 0. Our rules: bump ______ leasters or doublers ______ cracking ______
